Used store bought chocolate crust, put crushed gingersnaps in bottom. A little easier than making crust. I'd never made homemade pudding before and it came out perfectly. Best thing ever, but I love candied ginger. Awesome chocolate flavor. Will never make box pudding again.

Just had to try this pie!
Creamy, Chocolate & Ginger makes me all warm and fuzzy.
Agree with Trisha, chop ginger finley.
I added 1/4 cup Kraft Carmel Bits, to filling, to soothe my carmel craving. Turned out great.

Great chocolate pudding pie! I will make this again, but with finely chopped crystallized ginger instead of coarsely chopped. The larger pieces were a bit too strong, and had a weird texture after a while. But this dessert is a winner for sure.

I made this for a dinner we had. Such a hit. I made fresh whipped cream for the topping and mixed the extra crust with some candied ginger to go on the whipped cream. Even the kids loved it!

I really enjoyed this pie and so did my husband! The crystalized ginger is a nice little kick to the creamy chocolate pie. Will make again!

This is sooooo good! I've already made it twice and it's been a hit both times. The touch of ginger is refreshing but not overpowering. The first time I couldn't find chocolate wafers so used Archway Dutch Cocoa Cookies instead. The crust came out kind of chewy but it was very good. The second time I was able to use chocolate wafers and I have to say I liked the chewyness of the Archway cookies better.
This recipe is easy and fun to make, and so delicious!

This was so good. I am like her husband, because tow of my favorite things in the world are chocolate and ginger. We used coconut milk instead of the milk and coconut cream for the whipped topping because we don't eat dairy, and it worked really well. My roommate didn't like the chunks of ginger in the filling, but I sure did.
