I have watched Food Network since the beginning and you Aarti, are what we've been missing. Indian food is my new favorite cuisine and so thankful for the shows to help us novices! I've been enjoying The Spice Goddess and Indian Food Made Easy on the Cooking Channel...and have made a few of their recipes. I enjoy your style Aarti, and your recipes are treasures. This recipe is fantastic, I too was a bit worried about the mint but, all together the medley of flavors is amazing. The only variance to the recipe I did is add a serrano chili cut in half for a bit of heat and a few curry leaves that I pulled out at the end of cooking. I also used chicken breasts as that is what my family prefers. I served with naan and rice to help fill up my boys with bottomless stomachs : Thank you for a recipe I'll be making again and again! Best of luck to you in the competition, my vote is with you!

I made this for dinner tonight and the entire family loved eat. I was nervous about how much mint it called for, but I could not believe the flavor it produced. The kids didn't believe me when I told them it had mint in it. The whole family is keeping our fingers crossed for you Aarti!

I love Indian food but have never made it because it has always seemed too complicated. I tried this recipe tonight to rave reviews from the entire family (including 3 picky kids. Aarti's POV is one that is definitely missing from the Food Network lineup and I want to try everything she makes!

As an avid long-time viewer of all things Food Network, Aarti is the first person EVER to motivate me to immediately go online, grab the recipe and try it. I actually tried a recipe from the Food Network for THE FIRST TIME EVER and now I've already made 3! Her expertise and creativity is just enough outside my own comfort zone to get me cooking. To be honest, much of the current programming just re-hashes recipes and techniques I already know...Aarti brings us something new. GO AARTI!

I love Indian food and this recipe was delicious! Love Aarti on the show and decided to try this. Did not disappoint. I did put it in the oven though to bake for 30 minutes instead of simmering on the stove. Worked out well. Am going to try the red lentil soup next.

I am from southern India, and I've never had this type of curry before so I decided to try it out. It was simple and so flavorful, and of course, the color was beautiful. I really hope FN grasps this opportunity to venture out to other foods other than Italian and your typical American cuisine. I love Aarti because she makes the recipes our moms make into very simple and easy to understand recipes.
By the way, Aarti, can you pleeease give us a easy recipe for homemade Naan? I have one, but it just never comes out nice and fluffy. So I ended up eating this curry with some plain basmati rice.
Great job, keep it up, and I really hope you win!!! :
