This was excellent. To those who are reading the reviews, please disregard the ijits who substitute items. Common sense says to make it EXACTLY per the recipe the first time, THEN subsequent trials call for making it your own. I especially like the people that "don't eat hot dogs", but make this anyway. It was a great introduction to Indian inspired food.

This was very different, I mean that in a very good way. Very flavorful. Didn't have any tumneric so used more gara masala. The cilantro is a must! Will make again.

I saw this on The best thing I Ever Made the other day and it looked so good. I usually eat hot dogs but I had some in my freezer and decided to try. I was VERY delicious and easy to make. I did a little wing sauce to my own sandwich to add just a touch more zip.....Will definitely make again

great twist on the same ol' hot dog... full of flavor, yet still super easy and affordable. would love to try some other variations, ie, substitute chicken, pork, maybe add some raisins for sweetness... definitely a keeper!

I saw this on Best Thing I Ever Made and used the recipe an hour later (today was hot dog day and I had all the ingredients in my pantry.
It elevated the hot dog far beyond anything I ever tried before. Fragrant, well-spiced. Wonderful!
