OMG! it was so delicious, even w/ out the icecream! Warm and creamy.. I used combination of hazelnuts, cashews. coconut, and cardamon is the key! I like also that the bread on top was crispy. The mix w/ soft bread at the bottom and the crispy bread at the top was just great! I like texture in my food. This recipe is definetely a keeper, and is ferfect for the fall and winter. Yeehhh!! thank you Arti!, Love the food w/ Indian twist. Thumbs UP for the Food Network for the diversity all the way from Mexican cuisine to Indian among others.

I couldn't wait to make this recipe I decided to follow the recipe exactly except at the last minute I decided to double the amount of the cinnamon, cardamon and ginger. I went back and watched the video and she definitely used more than a 1/4 teaspoon of each spice. After tasting it I am glad I doubled the spice amounts. I think next time I would not use a French baguette because the crust is too crusty and it didn't absorb the milk mixture very well which resulted in a longer baking time. I would use a softer type of French bread which would absorb the milk mixture better. My friend, who I respect highly as a cook, agreed. My friend's husband who can't stand coconut raved about the dessert!

It was one of the best bread puddings I have ever had. The coconut milk added a wonderful flavor to a traditional dish and it was so easy to make. Loved it!!!

I LOVE the new show and Aarti is a complete delight! So happy she won!
I made the Huggie Bread Pudding and substituted the figs for 3 fresh peaches cut up in the pudding and put pistachios on top. Used Splenda for the sugar and 1% milk. Delicious! Will be making this recipe again. Keep up the creative recipes, Aarti !

My family is vegan but this looked too good to pass up. I used EnerG Egg replacer in place of eggs and Silk Soymilk with Omega-3. It was wonderful!!!

Everyone loved this bread pudding. Will add this to my favourite desserts. I substituted 1% milk and craisins and it was delicious. My dinners guests and I are excited for more of Aarti's unique twist on recipes. Definitely a new twist on flavour for the food network!

Well I forgot two things at the store, cinnamon and coconut milk. The taste was still good with only the cardamom and ginger. Also I used skim milk because thats what we had on hand. It was great the next morning as a french toast casserole with some syrup. Love the show!

I made this recipe but automatically did what I always do with any bread pudding I make. Tostthe bread and lightly butter it before you cube it and add the rest of the ingredients. This adds a wonderful extra layer of flavor. The addition of the coconut milk and figs just makes this a wonderful addition to any meal. Heck who can wait for a meal..

I have been making the standard bread pudding for years but this puts mine to shame. The new flavors are wonderful. The smell brought the family to the kitchen. Great comfort food. We love you Aarti!
