Amazingly delicious! At the end, I used my immersion blender and did a "rough blend" to get the consistency more like what is pictured. I'm excited to have the leftovers tomorrow after the flavors have melded together!

REALLY good! I liked the subtle complexity of the flavors and was very easy to throw together. Completely agree that the lime and honey made it sing. I did add 1" fresh ginger and substituted chana dal (split little chickpeas for toor dal (could swear I had some!. On the ingredients like the dried coconut, toor dal, black mustard seeds--those are very common and easily available in any indian grocery. Will be making again!

Out of this world, so complex and so many layers of flavor! Don't skip the lime and cilantro, it really rounds out this dish. I used Aarti's naan recipe as an accompaniment, it was awesome! I will definitely make this again!

I LOVED this soup! Bright, flavorful,filling-and so good for you. Used veggie stock and dried unsweetened coconut. Can't say enough good things, just loved this and will definitely make it again. So pleased.

Loved by picky children and skeptical adults alike (even the ones sick of eating squash! Substituting coconut milk for the coconut works in a pinch, but the texture isn't as good.

Delicious!!!!! Couldn't get to it the first night I made it, but it was extremely good on the third day. My husand and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I added just a little bit more chilies.

A super easy and very good soup...and very healthy. Be sure to double the receipe as what is listed doesn't make enough. Additionally, I added a cup of finely diced carrots with the tomatoes to give it some sweetness. I also used red lentils intead of what it calls for above. Btw, they don't sell brown mustard seed at most grocery stories. I had to go to William&Sonoma and even then they only had crushed... which worked just fine. I saved the receipe as I will make it again.

Yum! I have made this twice in the past 3 weeks. I added more squash, garlic & seasonings, then puree with immersion blender.
