this was really good. We used soft pitas, skipped the peas, and it was like an Indian hamburger. So much more flavorful than a regular grilled hamburger. It was not spicy-hot, just full of flavor. My teenagers loved it!

way to soupy and bland. I have LOVED all of her dishes and I have made several. Also discrepency on the spice amounts from the television show to the online recipe. I had to add rice to absorb the liquid and more spices at the end.

I found this recipe in a search of "beef" and "cilantro" - the two ingredients I needed to use. Instead of ground beef I used stew beef, served it over brown rice, and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! My husband and two adult sons devoured it.

I think this recipe was spot on! I followed it to the letter except I had to use a half a large can of crushed tomatoes. As a result, I only used 1/2 cup of water so it wouldn't be too soupy. Added more peas, lots of cilantro and yogurt. I have to agree with a former reviewer, use the freshest spices you can get your hands on. I ground my own coriander seeds and the difference is really appreciatable.

I loved this recipe! Was a hit at our family Indian dinner! Very easy to make. Used ground turkey instead of beef and was delicious!

Loved it! Made it with ground turkey instead and it was amazing, the whole family loved it, also I made a side of Chicken Pullao from one of my Indian cookbooks. Also, the Kheema is very similiar to most Kheema recipes I have used in the past but this one is one of my favorites!

For not knowing the real kheema taste like .. i thought this recipe was pretty good . I skipped garam masala since i couldn't find in any store around here . And it still worked well , but i added dash of cinnamon and whole clove instead . I also used extra lean beef 96% . I added heaping of cayenne , and mixed paprika with smoked paprika . Turned out well .
