These were great! I took Aarti's suggestion and switched the paneer for feta. We'll add these to our regular rotation of recipes.

We made these this weekend. They were easy, and even people who thought they didn't like Indian food liked them.

My husband and I were amazed by how easy and tasty this dish really was. It has been filed under our "make again" category and we can't wait! Like other reviewers have mentioned, I had difficulty locating paneer so I substituted queso fresco and it worker perfectly. I also added more red pepper flakes as the recipe mentioned to do if you enjoy spice and it was perfect. Great way to integrate Indian flavors with a traditional dish.

Went to local Indian store and got the paneer it is well worth it.
Only had the hot mango chutney and I doubled the amount and put on the grill on a Pizza stone
It is so easy to do. And went down well with all at the party.
This recipe is a keeper for me and I will be using it as an appetizer at many party?s

Because it's not mentioned in the recipe--do you put the ingredients on the still frozen naan and bake, or do you prebake the frozen naan before adding the toppings? Thanks!

Made this recipe with only mozzerella and no paneer as it was not at the local store and I wanted to make it tonight so didn't have time to make my own. Everything else I found without trouble. This recipe is extremely easy to make and delicious. What more can you ask for? For one reviewer who seemed to criticize easy recipes...jeez give me a break - no one would pass up an easy recipe wiht great flavor for a difficult recipe with great flavor. Great is great - I'll take easy and great any time!

My husband loved it too. He doesn't like cilantro so I made two without cilantro and substituted flat leaf parsely. He loved it! Mine had cilantro and I loved it too! Loved Aarti on Food Network Star and am so glad she won! Thanks for a great recipe that I am already planning to make again and bring to events so I can share with others!

I've been so excited to try this recipe and it did NOT disappoint! My husband, who claims he doesn't really like Indian food, LOVED it! : I couldn't find any paneer cheese, so I Googled what I could use for substitutes for it, and found that I could use feta instead (which was convenient since I had some in my fridge already!!. I used a little less feta than the amount of paneer that the recipe called for because feta is a pretty salty cheese. Next time I make this (I'm so happy that there will be a next time, since my husband called this a keeper, I think I"ll use MORE of the cheese mixture because it was so flavorful and tasty!

Also, other than the paneer cheese (which, admittedly, I didn't try SUPER hard to find, I had no trouble finding the naan and Patak's mango chutney...I didn't have to go to Trader Joe's or any other specialty store. I found them during my normal grocery shopping trip to Fred Meyer. :

My husband declared this the best pizza he ever ate (recipe made exactly according to recipe. I only made two pizzas to begin with, and after eating one, I decided that the sauce was not what I expected. Too tangy for me, without enough spice. (Also, my 3 yr old spit it out and asked for water! He called it sour. So with what sauce I had left, I added a little sugar, and a dash each of cumin, cinnamon, cloves, turmeric, and cardamom. Also a little more water, then cooked it down. I just think the five-minute cooking time, while wonderfully easy, isn't enough to benefit the raw tomato paste. And I have to say, the changes made the sauce truly divine. This was a great recipe (easy even with the changes I made. I loved the cheeses mixed with the herbs, and it was such a pretty pizza when done. I reheated one in the microwave for lunch at work the next day, and it was delicious. My co-worker was impressed with its appearance and said it looked like I got it at a restaurant.

I frequent Mario Batali's Mozza Pizzaria in L.A., and this is right up there with his sausage pizza, maybe even better. I honestly think it's the best thing I have ever tasted. If I was given the death penalty I'd ask for this as my last meal in jail. SO FREAKIN' GOOD!!! And easy to make. I love Aarti!
