I have been waiting to try this recipe since the final "pilot" episode. We are very happy to have Indian options added to our daily cooking.
We loved the recipe! I even made my own Naan! For a WV girl, I think we have mastered the Indian version of pizza, thanks to Aarti

This has such amazing range of flavors in such simple methods!! As far as being obtainable you can find anything at Trader Joe's or also Whole Foods markets but now a days Indian markets are very easy to find. For Deanna from Keller Texas if you would just look there are a plethora of Indian markets just minutes from your house! I know I lived there for years. I have learned that Indian markets have many spices (more usually than they typical American grocery store and at much cheaper prices (no marketing. Nuts are cheaper, produce is usually fresher and you find those hard to find spices and ingredients used in Indian cooking and at much better prices. Great job Aarit!! Love your show!

This pizza was delicious!!! I'm glad the recipe says recommended ingredients--otherwise, I wouldn't have known where to get them. Aarti is awesome!

First of all, I am going to congratulate Aarti on winning TNFNS. I was rooting for her all along, as I loved everything she cooked, and her personality. Being Indian/Paki myself, I felt that the FN needed that type of show.

Ok, so back to the Pizza, it was, as Rachael Ray would say, DELISH!!! Everyone in my family loved it. Instead of using Prosciutto, since we dont eat that, I used BBQ Tandoori Chicken, and skipped the Paneer since my mom and grandma dont like that. The pizza turned out great. Every ingredient being fresh made it so much better. The sauce smelled just like a Pizza Sauce would, and it had the perfect Indian taste to it.

No more Papa Johns for me, Sorry. I am making my own Pizza everrytime!

    Thanks Aarti, and Congrats again!

Great flavor and very easy to prepare. Trader Joe's did not have paneer though so we wen't without it (may try ricotta next time. Definitely add more mozzerella to make it more cheesy. My "chicken nugget" 10-yr old can't wait to make it again!

Aarti, you're awesome. Watching your show was awesome and I nearly burst into tears doing so. You're an inspiration!

Your food looks yummy and your show is fun. You're just as good as Paula Deen and Rachel Ray. Some people -- mainly Carol -- obviously don't get it. Aarti's food is simple, but it's GOOD, even the Iron Chefs said so. And I think Morimoto and Michael Symon know, uh, a little more about food than people who have nothing better to do than to post NEGATIVE comments. I want to watch a show that teaches me about other kinds of food, but I want the food to be easy to make. The Food Network exists to present us lowly home cooks with food that seems hard but is really easy. Aarti, your show does that. Love you. Stay awesome.

Was really looking forward to making this, and even found a recipe for home made naan rather then buying it. However, Safeway didn't have mango chutney and had to make a trip to whole foods as well as substituting caso blanco for paneer since no one had it. Flavor was great, just wish it wasn't so hard to find the ingredients / had to make substitutions.

re: cathy: "simple indian"? Isn't that an oxymoron? We love the magic of Indian spices. We're in good company. So did Columbus and Queen Isabella. But who knows how to cook Indian? Not me. Oh yeah. AARTI does! And Cathy has a problem with it being easy? That's not the planet I live on. Aarti: pay no attention to those comments. You just focus on us who gave you 5 stars, baby.

I was not prepared for how addictive these pizzas are! My 9-year old daughter is very weird about tomatoes and complains if she can even taste the sauce on pizza, wiping it off. However, she was LICKING the pan with this rich sauce.

I couldn't find paneer cheese, or even queso fresco which many sites recommend as a substitute, so I chopped up fresh mozarella instead and I think it worked fine

These pizzas are so rich, smoky, fresh, just plain yummy. Thank you Aarti!!!

I just made this for lunch. Cut recipe in half for my husband and I. I didn't have the paneer and subbed in something called ricotta salada. It was a lot like paneer but saltier. This was delicious. I am really excited to see Aarti on HGTV. She is going to give all of us a preview into some exciting new tastes. I want to learn to use Indian spices, I think Aarti will show us all how. I also just found an Indian market in our area, so next time I will get eerythng right. I just emailed the recipe to my daughter. I think this would be great for a grad student party!
