OMG! Thank u Aarti for a delicious & unusual way to eat kale! Usually, kale is always cooked and warm. U r soooooooo right! It does smell like bananas-I had to see/smell for myself! This salad is easy and addicting. I didn't have any pepitas, so I substituted carmelized pecans-YUM! I especially like how the dressing has ingredients my hubby can eat. He is on the SCD diet. I am forwarding ur recipe to my sister-in-law.

Wow...Aarti you are my new favorite person. I loved this recipe. I subbed sunflower seeds but other than that made as written. It was refreshing and addictive. I've always had to cook kale to eat it. I was so happy I found a recipe that let me enjoy it raw. Thank you so much!

Delicious, refreshing and healthy. Had an abundance of kale from a neighbor and decided to try this. After the mango was all gone, we used ripe cantaloupe--equally delicious.
Agree, it's better the next day. Thanks

This salad is amazing! Made it last night for a husband that isn't crazy about kale and he loved it so much, he took the leftovers for his lunch the next day. This salad holds up so well, he said it tasted even better the next day. Thanks you Aarti for another wonderful recipe :

This was absolutely delicious! I was so intrigued about using kale and the recipe was so simple. I knew I could find all the ingredients without breaking the bank. It is just as good w/sunflower seeds or no seeds. I also tried using the juice from the kinda overripened mango I had instead of the sugar and it was great! Thanks, Aarti.

This was amazing. I loved it and I didn't even like kale last year. My kids also loved it. I added an extra mango to entice the kids, it was a stunningly beautiful salad.

The tip on massaging the kale was awesome. My 10 year old daughter loved it, although, she claims not to like mango. She ate all the kale and got lots of nutrients! Thank you Artie! I am married to a Sri Lankan so I appreciate the easy recipes you are providing! I watched you win the challenge on TV and was stoked to see you with your own show.

Yum! Super easy, delicious and nutritious! The kale holds up nicely, so I ate the leftovers for a few days!
