Picked the kale myself so I wanted to make something my husband would eat. He turned it down at first but finally agreed to taste. He finished a large portion and ate the leftovers for lunch. I added lemon zest to the dressing and used sliced almonds. I will make this again, it tastes great and is so healthy!

Made this recipe the second time. Both times turned out great. I used the normal green kale instead of black kale as I can't find any. Also, I substituted the salad dressing with a poppy seed dressing as I ran out of honey at home. It was yummy. Even my husband who hated kale loved it.

This dish is addictive. I love it every time I make it and I always wish I made it more often. We sometimes add an extra handful of pumpkin seeds if we're craving a little extra crunch, but the flavors and textures just balance out really well.

Very nice. I didn't massage the kale because I had a cut on one of my fingers and didn't feel like dealing with the sting, nor did I have pumpkin seeds. But I did everything else according to the recipe and it came out great. It's even better after sitting in the fridge for a day or so. I'll definitely make this again.

The flavor is great, but I didn't massage the kale ALL the way to wilted. And I am a "texture" person. It made a big difference the next time when I fully massaged to wilted the kale --it took it from good to GREAT for me. My hubby loved it from the very first bite. I now blend the mango, whole lemon, honey and oil in the Vita Mix as a dressing then pour on massaged kale and pumpkin seed. (Have 10 children and it is so much easier to prepare for them...

Delicious. Used green kale (because that's all my store carries, mandarin oranges (suggestion from other reviewers and easier to have on hand than mango, and a juiced orange - a little less tart and more sweet than lemon juice. Whole family loves - husband, kids (11 and 7 and even my 70+ dad who thinks kale is just a garnish.

Outstanding! I never thought I would get my husband to eat kale. Very good with sunflower seeds, too.
