I've never worked with Kale, and have recently wanted to, specifically as a salad. Thanks for coming to the rescue! Can't wait to try this.

I haven't tried the recipe yet, but have been looking for a way to incorporate more greens into my diet and can't believe that I'm actually excited to try this one. Just want to add -- don't pay attention to the mean-spirited & negative comments Aarti. You DEFINITELY deserved to win this year and I like the fusion idea. For many people who are afraid to try or think they won't like Indian cuisine, it's a way for us to "dip out toes" into the flavors and possbily open a whole new culinary door. You're fun to hang out with too! Thanks and hope to see you on FN for many years to come!

Thanks for the interesting kale dish. Most people don't use kale very often. I will make this tonight for our friends and review it!

My husband and I literally ran to the computer to access this website. We are so excited to try both the Sloppy Bombay Joes and the kale salad. Our challenge will be to convert them to our vegan lifestyle, but with some Boca crumbles in place of the ground meat, we will be sure to enjoy the Bombay Joes.
This was just the best cooking program on Food Network channel ever! Aarti is authentic, energetic, funny, and knowledgeable. Thank you! Fran Dmyterko

My wife has a terrible mango allergy. What would you suggest as a substitute?
