Aarti, thanks for a fabulous recipe! I tried it with the baby kale from Whole Foods and only a teaspoon of olive oil and then a teaspoon of sesame oil, as a reviewer suggested. Massaging the baby kale is super easy. The pepper really rocks this salad, and I kept it really uber diet friendly. Feels like cheating, but so healthy. Go Aarti!

So yummy! I didn't have pepitas so I substituted toasted sliced almonds. Love, love, love it!

This salad is fantastic! I made a little quinoa as well and placed the salad on top for protein.

Amazingly delicious! I sub out a little of the olive oil for sesame oil, it has a nice complex flavor. Lots of pepper too. Love it! Crack salad is right!

Sooo delish! Made this for my hubby last week.. he loved it and made it again for the in laws last night and they loved it as well! Beautiful blend of sweetness from the honey.. sweet and sour from the mangos and zestiness from the lemon. Looking for more recipes with kale...

Very taste. I make this quite a lot. I like it with a little feta and use walnuts instead of the nuts she used....sometimes I use mango and sometimes I forget....still really good.

I have been making this salad for about six months and once you start eating it it is impossible to stop. For that reason we starting calling it the "Crack" salad, then my friend tried it and as she was eating it she kept saying it was "crazy stupid good" so now we call it the "crazy stupid good crack salad." Make it, it is easy and oh so delicous. As soon as you eat it you will feel a surge of energy - it just makes you happy. I have also tried it with peaches and pineapple when I didn't have a ripe papaya and it is always great.

Love this. My go to "green salad" when it's winter and the greens aren't looking so nice in the stores.
