This is a wonderful recipe! So delicious. My family never had Indian food before at home and both of my parents loved it. It was a great combination of flavors and not too spicy. Very easy to make for someone that has never made a curry at home before.

Duh-licious!!!!! My husband hates tomatoes, and he didn't mind them at all in this sauce....we loved the spicy flavors, the meatballs, everything...

Another winner! I served these over mashed potatoes (because that's what I had on hand and my family loved it!! The meatballs were great, and the sauce was AMAZING!! This one is a keeper. :

Fantastic !!!! I was so excited when I saw this episode that I went to cook this meatball curry for dinner right away. I did not have all the ingredients, so I took a chance in using what I had in the kitchen. I used ground chicken instead of beef, onion instead of shallot, fresh parsley instead of cilantro, jalapeno pepper instead of serrano pepper and finally lite coconut milk. I also did not add the 1/2 cup additional water as it looked like it would be too much liquid. Even with all the changes I made, it was amazingly flavorful !!! I will look forward to making this recipe again !!!

The meatball curry was delicious!! It might have taken over my last favorite of Aaarti's - the fish tacos. Since I am Indian and like my food spicy, I increased the cumin, coriander, cayenne and green chilies. I think I will leave out the additional water next time as the gravy could have been thicker. I used canola and not coconut oil and it tasted just fine.
Thank you, Aarti, for another great recipe!

Awesome recipe. Made it following the directions except used canola oil instead of coconut. Was still delicious. Didn't come out thin at all. I put water in the emptied can of coconut milk, to get the last of the milk on the sides of the can and added this rinse to the curry. The flavor of the curry was very, very like the taste of panang from my favorite Thai restaurant! Yummie! The meatballs and the curry continue to get better as leftovers. I think this curry would be very good with meat other than ground beef and will try that next. Just an excellent base!

This was great!! I would have liked the curry to be slightly thicker (as previous reviewers mentioned I will omit the water next time. Other than that, we really liked it, and will definitely make it again.

just made this meatball curry...omg! it is absolutely phenomenal, even though I made a couple of substitutions! used onion instead of shallots, used canola oil because coconut oil is too expensive for a recipe I wasn't sure about (will be buying it now! and jalapeno peppers instead

Fantastic recipe! I love the meatball curry on every Indian buffet - these are an improved version. I served mine over steamed cabbage for a low carb side. Don't forget the cilantro and lime squeeze at the end!
