This is definitely worth while the trouble. When I first made the sauce and tried it i thought the flavors were too intense, however after adding it to the chicken wings I was soooo impressed, the flavor of the molasses complimented the chicken wings. I kept it healthy by avoiding the butter in the sauce and it was fantastic!

Absolutely wonderful. Thank you Aarti. I did not have Pomegranate molasses so i used just 2 tbs of honey.

Aarti, we love you! This spice rub is a great keeper! I've used it on your wing recipe and then again into a version of your pomegranate sauce (I used grape juice in place of pomegranate then simply drizzled sauce over bbq meat and rice. You have certainly added wonderful spice to my life - keep the recipes coming!

Tasty yes, sweet & just right amount of spice. I did have to cook them a little longer but I like crispy wings. Very good, thanks Aarti for another yummy recipe.

Thank heavens for Aarti. This is another home run recipe. The spice rub gives the chicken a nice crunch and the combination of flavors in the sauce is both unexpected and delightful - fruity, spicy, with just a hint of mint. We could have eaten twice what I made. I served this as an entree and my only issue was getting the side dish right. I made her zucchini ribbon salad because I thought they would complement each other but the flavors in that salad are very delicate and get overwhelmed by the one-two punch of pomegranate and sriracha.

I was catching up on my Aarti shows saved on my TiVO and I watched this episode. From watching the episode, I thought that there is no way that they are this easy. The wings were so EASY to make. The hardest part was grinding the spices with my mortar and pestle because I don't have a spice grinder. The spice rub gave it a nice crunchy texture. The sauce was the added bonus. I am not a super fan of spicy, but the sriracha gave it just enough punch. I will definitely be making this again. FYI - the pomegranate molasses was in the juice aisle at the somewhat specialty supermarket by me.

Well, as I watched the episode, I wasn't convinced that the spice rub would be enough to flavor the wings...so I was tempted to double it. But I thought, "Hey, Aarti knows what she's doing." So I gave it a try just as she described.
The result....my family was fighting over these little beauties. I did make one modification -- after tossing the baked wings in the pomegranate/sriracha sauce, I threw them back in the oven for 10 minutes to give them a little glazed effect. They were so yummy that I'm just trying to figure out how long I can wait to make them again (don't want to burn-out on these puppies. I loved how easy this recipe was, too...especially compare to wings that need to marinate for a long time or have to be fried.

These were AMAZING! I made 4 lbs and didn't have a single wing leftover. I used little drummies instead of wings and added more sriracha. I will most definitely make this one again.

I made my own homemade pomegranate molasses as I couldn't find any in my store - which took an hour. This dish was o.k but not great, probably won't make it again.

Aweeeeeesome!! You really can't go wrong with this dish. I couldn't find pomegranate molasses so I bought a 16 oz bottle of "pom" juice and reduced it down to a syrup (use the whole 16 oz. I steamed the wings for 10 mins to release the excess fat (see Alton browns recipe then dried them and rubbed them in the spice mixture and let them sit for an hour in the fridge on a cooling rack over paper towels. Then cooked them just as the recipe said. Well- I couldn't find cardamom seeds so I used powder but I couldn't tell the difference. The sauce was amazing...note to self...make 2 batches next time!! No need for dipping sauce! I served them with spiced sweet potato fries and my husband was begging for seconds and thirds. Thankyou Aarti!
