OMG, this recipe is GREAT. The pork just melts in your mouth and I love the mango sauce. It's a nice change from the original BBQ sauces. I love Aarti's beautiful smile and great energy. I've been a fan of your's from the start. Great Job!

After watching Aarti make this recipe this morning I had to go out and get the ingredients to make it myself. I couldn't find the mango puree so I bought very ripe mangos instead and pureed them. (Maybe the reader who said she had reduced mango nectar can give the directions for that. I think they should have included it with the recipe. It seems that it is not the only thing they left, huh?. The pork was very tender, the kitchen smelled delicious and the pairing with the salad was genius. I'm excited to keep trying her recipes.

I just cannot wait to watch her show. I record it on my DVR then watch it later.

WHO THE HECK IS "SUSAN" everyone is talking about - I looked for a review from her and could not find it.

In any case - I agree - get off the site and go watch somehing else - Aarti is FANTASTIC!

I read all the comments about the recipe missing instructions and YOU ARE ALL RIGHT! Good thing I still have it on my DVR so I can watch again the order she put everything in. If I am not mistaken she FIRST started out with onion, ginger and serrano - that's when she said " this is how most Indian recipes start out" -
I do rememer the meat went into th pot when the sauce was all in there.

What is wrong with the writers? Get your act together and write the CORRECT recipe and directions.

I CANNOT WAIT TO TRY THIS - IT LOOKS FANTASTIC and from those who did
try it - sounded like THE LOVED IT!!!!!

    SEE YOU NEXT TIME AARTI!!!!

PS: DON'T YOU JUST "LOVE" HER CLOTHES?????? SHE ALWAYS HAS A BEAUTIFUL BLOUSE ON - SO INDIAN!!!!!

Just wondering what, if anything, you did differently to make it in a slow cooker and how it turned out?

    2 cups mango puree
    1/2 cup fresh lime juice
    1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
    2 tablespoons molasses
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

Congrats Aarti! my daughter Amanda and I watched every show with hopes of you winning.
The pulled pork was very tasty .... had to say it was average because we still love our southern chopped BBQ a tad bit better.
    Looking forward to more recipes.

We don't eat pork, would like a nice beef brisket work for this recipe? I am not sure if the flavors would be as good with beef as it would with pork..
Other than that, I am so excited to try this recipe! I love playing with new flavors and am excited to see what you have next!!!

Since I am going to be up in the mountains all day tomorrow four wheeling I went ahead and made the whole "summer lovin" menu ahead of time. Rubbed the pork and let it sit for awhile while I made the sauce, now it's all sitting in the crock pot insert to be put on in the morning- who cares if there were steps missing in the instructions, we are big people and can figure it out! Made the slaw and the puddin pie too. Can't wait to try it- the scents were amazing and I enjoyed that as much as the show. Very glad for Aarti, think she will be a great addition to Food Network. Wish it were me!
