Tasty, tangy and sweet. My family loved it. It went especially well with the apple lime peanut slaw! The ginger in the pork added a nice flavor, but it was missing the "kick" that most bbq sauces have. Next time, I would add two or three serrano peppers or perhaps even some crushed red pepper.

Absolutely excellent. So easy. Just follow the directions exactly and you won't be disappointed. I used frozen mango that I simply thawed and put in the blender, since I couldn't find mango puree. Everyone at my house loved it and went back for seconds. Don't skip the bread n butter pickles- they really add a delicious crunchy counterpart. Yum. Thanks Aarti!

This recipe is really good! I didn't have the 3 hours to wait for this to be ready so I braised the pork in a pressure cooker with a little bit of oil, added the sauce and cooked it under pressure and medium heat for 1 hour. It turned out really tender and it was ready much faster! The sauce was a little runny but I guess I could have reduced it a bit in a separate saucepan.

This had some sour flavors and also gave a bad stomach ache. Maybe because of the mango.
Treat a mango bad and it returns the favor with compound interest!

Had it last night for dinner and it was ok. Made it exactly as written. At first taste, it was a little tart for me and I wasn't sure I liked it. Personally I've had better flavored bbq but my husband, who is a lot pickier than I am, really loved this. We both had it for lunch and wow, it's so much better the next day! I guess the flavors need time to blend. It's so much more balanced when it's leftover. We ate it with a slice of bread & butter pickles. I made it in a crock pot. So much easier and faster. I would probably make it again.

I thought this was great last night, but the leftovers I just had for lunch were even better! The Indian flavors really pop in your mouth, and the tangy sweetness is to die for!

We like our food hot, but my little one can't take the heat, so I used one serrano with no seeds...and we added a little hot sauce to the bun. Perfect! Also used a little extra cumin and fennel seeds. Really de-lish topped with Apple-Lime-Peanut Slaw!

BTW, couldn't find mango puree, so I bought frozen mango, then defrosted and pureed myself. I can't believe how much I love the flavor the mango adds to the sauce. This is my new go-to BBQ sauce!

Food Network, you really hit the jackpot with Aarti! She is the first new host in a long time that had something to teach that I REALLY want to learn! I love the flavors in Aarti's dishes. I've been a fan of this network for years, and this is the first time I felt compelled to review anything. LOVIN' Aarti Party!! =

My partner made this for my birthday since we saw Aarti make it on her show a couple of weeks ago. I'll tell you what, I never knew how good fennel and cumin are together along with all of the other ingredients. We're still having left-overs 2 days later and it's every bit as good.

This is such a great recipe, ***follow the directions***, you won't be disappointed!

Wasn't super thrilled with this recipe, but happy with how it came out. It was good, but not AMAZING! Will make again. I made it in the crock pot and still happy with how it came out!
