I used cardamom, cloves and cinnamon because I don't have a specific pumpkin spice mix. I liked this best when I added a little brown sugar and milk at the end.

Only thing...I added a lot more raisins...this has been a fantastic start to my new year of healthy eating...when breaking down into bowls for work, I top with a spoonful of brown sugar and melted butter...reheats WONDERFULLY! My break-friend at work loved it as well...THANKS! Aatri

We love this recipe. My wife and I make it in batches and bring it to work all week. I adjusted some of the spices by reducing the amount of ground cloves, added 1/4 teaspon extra of salt and added a tablespoon of sugar. I like mine with honey and granola and my wife eats hers with just milk. This is a great recipe for the holiday season, but also throughout the year if you need a pumpkin fix.

Great breakfast! I had half a can leftover from making some cookies and so I halved the recipe. I also added quite a few cranberries since I absolutely love them. I want at least one cranberry for each bite. Delicious!

SO tasty! And Aarti was right - you can definitely make a huge pot of it and just warm it up every day. It tastes exactly like Pumpkin Pie and couldn't be more filling. Because we made it on Sunday and are eating it every morning, we're saving a ton of time on weekday mornings. Thanks Aarti! Your recipe is AWESOME!

So GOOD! I doubled the recipe and had extra on hand, like she suggested. I didn't have any raisins or pumpkin seeds so I did without and it was still AMAZING! Next time I'll make sure I have them on hand. Definitely a keeper. So warm and comforting on a cold winter morning! AND I had that can of pumpkin sitting in my pantry for so long...a win-win!

I'm eating the most comforting food I have ever eaten. It is cold and snowy today but I am warm and toasty. The almond milk in this adds a silkiness that Is unbelievable! I had some chai spice blend that I used with the cinnamon. I added just a touch of brown sugar to mine. I'm sending this recipe to everyone I know!

Oh my goodness! I loved this oatmeal! Just had a big bowl while watching Aarti's vegetarian show from yesterday. Delicious and comforting! I had pumpkin pie spice but also added some cardamom just because. Sooo yummy! Made the whole recipe and will enjoy it all week!

This recipe is awesome!! Quick and easy to make, just how I like it. I substituted almonds for the pumpkin seeds, but otherwise followed the recipe and am loving the taste! Thanks Aarti!!!
