My boyfriend loves Indian cuisine however it's a cuisine I could use some experience with. This Indian-inspired chicken dish was the perfect introduction to the classic roasted chicken though through the eyes of Aarti, thanks Aarti!!!

This is someone who claims he doesn't even like Indian flavors. He was picking scraps off of my plate!

Each episode I watch, makes me want to try a new dish. When I make this I will have friends over for a tasty light dinner with a nice wine.

Aarti: I am going to venture into the world of Indian cuisine. What is garam masala and where do I get this? Thanks! Love the way your dishes look. Can't wait to try. My stars are for the look.

I just prepared this dish and my husband and I just "tore it up"!

    It was absolutely delicious.

The only thing I add was an extra orange juice, chicken boullion (about 1/2 c and an extra scallion. But pretty much I stuck to the recipe.

Wow, it was filled with such rich flavors! I loved it!!! Thanks for sharing this recipe Aarti. I'm so happy you won, I was cheering for you the whole time!

Lots of love, kisses and hugs to ya and good luck with your new show! Can't wait to see it.

We cut the potatoes really thin like someone suggested and they were so delicious! We couldn't get enough. Chicken was moist and easy to make but for some reason it didn't hit the spot. May have been too much orange juice and not enough salt.

Beautifully perfumed chicken. This was wonderful...an amazingly delicate flavor...if anything, I'd love to somehow intensify that wonderful perfumed flavor. I had a really large orange, so I only used half. The next time, I'm going to try chicken thighs, more butter, and less orange juice: to make sure it's a real paste. I will also slice the potatoes with a mandolin so that they're thin and perfectly consistent. This recipe is exactly what I've been looking for -- succulent, juicy chicken with a delicately perfumed sauce.
