Delicious, and so easy. Thanks, Aarti, for making it seem possible. The paneer really was as simple as you showed in the demo and I am so glad to have a new veg main course in my repertoire .

I am so thankful for Aarti and her recipes. Ever since I tried my first recipe of her's (Sloppy Bombay Joes I have been experimenting more and more. Today I made the cheese in the morning and then the rest for dinner. Came out wonderful. Didn't use the serrano though, and found that it was plenty hot enough for me and my husband without it. Really easy and good! Considerig that before Aarti was in our lives, it was a battle to get my husband to eat anything that wasn't meat and potatoes, so this is a great victory!

Wow. I didn't know frozen spinach could taste so good! We only had skim milk and almond milk in the house - so I skipped making the paneer and focused solely on the saag.

I boosted the ingredients by 25% because our grocery store only sells frozen spinach in 10 oz. blocks. Increasing everything by 25% allowed me to use 2 full boxes of the frozen spinach.

Other than that - followed the recipe to the letter. Used a pre-packaged garam masala from the Asian market - it smelled so wonderful!

I even liked the dish before I added the yogurt at the end. I only had Greek fat-free plain yogurt, so I used that. It is a little heavier than regular yogurt, but worked well.
Oh - and I had some leftover cannelini beans - so I threw those in at the end to try and replicate the creaminess that the paneer would have given. Winner.

Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the over- giggly and oft-referenced-mum aspects of the show - but the girl sure can cook.

Easy and delicious! I made the paneer myself, and used a bit of heavy cream instead of the yogurt to avoid any curdling issues. The paneer seared really well even on my electric stove. Crispy and delicious!

This was delicious. I've tried making paneer before, and it didn't turn out right. These directions worked perfectly. Yay!

This is the most delicious Saag Paneer recipe I have ever made. The instructions were specific and there weren't too many ingredients. I am Indian and obviously love Indian food, but sometimes there are just too many steps/ingredients. I also made the home-made paneer Aarti recommends, and that was so easy. Aarti is fabulous - we love you!!!

I LOVE Aarti!! I had such a great time making the cheese, I couldn't believe how easy it was!! Aarti gives me confidence to try new and different types of food. I will use the chile next time, I didn't because I don't like heat, but my friends complained it wasn't spicy enough.

I'm not a fan of paneer, so I substituted with cubes of white chicken breast. Also used cream instead of yoghurt, & added some freshly chopped roma tomatoes at the end for extra color - yum! I wasn't keen on the bitter flavor that I think the 'golden' colored onion/garlic/ginger/chili gave to the dish, I only cooked it for 5-10 mins, but I'd cook it less next time.
