Love, love this. Made it twice in the last four days (although that had something to do with the pillow case sized bag of spinach purchased from Costco LOL. If using fresh spinach, I would strongly recommend cooking it down separately first, then straining/squeezing out as much liquid as you can get. The first time we didn't strain enough and it got a little soupy when we added the recommended water... super tasty though!

Aarti!! This was absolutely incredible! I was shocked how easy and delicious the paneer was! I order this every time I go out to eat Indian food, and always love it.. This however beats any saag Paneer I have ever tasted!!! You rock!! Going to try out the Panner fingers Tonight :

Yum! Made a double batch of the paneer - it's so easy. Then put the Saag paneer together - wow! Great taste and easy too.

WOW!!! Even my kids ate it. It had just enough spice and flavor. Definitely spices up a plain package of frozen spinach. Very easy, just time consuming to stand over the saute pan....

I am not a big cheese eater, but this cheese (which I made myself and this dish are truly scrumptious. Aarti is the best host on FNW. I know she will be around for years to come. She is such a delight in every way.

I love Aarti: her humor, her use of the English language, her easy way of telling us how to pronounce foreign words, and her skill! My favorite food is Indian. Because I read too quickly and don't follow directions, my paneer failed the first time. Today, it was fine!. My flavors in the saag paneer are good BUT I used buttermilk instead of Greek yogurt which curdled immediately. I have had this dish made w/buttermilk previously so will be more careful the next time, or will use the Greek yogurt. Next time I'll get it right!

Love love love this! Saag Paneer has long been one of my favorite Indian dishes, and this one is super-easy to make. I cut it in half, used one 10 oz box of frozen spinach and still had enough for two meals. This would be yummy with Aarti's Mum's everyday red lentils, I bet. Hmmmm....maybe I'll make those tonight!

Phenomenally good and so easy to make. I love saag paneer and had no idea I could make (really the best paneer at home. This is so good. I used fresh spinach (which is so much better and a whole (read unseeded fresno chili for this. This recipe is great, you gotta try it.

Although my paneer didnt stay as firm as we would have liked the dish was a big hit and I will make it again...I used both white and red onions and added a green chili in place of the serrano pepper... I have a two year old so we try not to make things too hot...it was very tasty...I think I will add more onions and garam masala to it the next time...seemed that the spices were not as pronounced...My DIL is vegetarian so we try to do one complete vegetarian meal each week and to be honest my son and I are both considering becoming vegetarian as well...with food like this it will be very easy to do!!!!

I was so excited for this episode to air--I am recently obsessed with paneer and have been getting it at the local farmer's market. Now that I know how to make my own, forget that stuff! it was just as easy as Aarti said and even more delicious. I actually cut the amount of milk and made half the amount of cheese and added more spinach (it is a very WW-friendly recipe that way! Cooking this made my house smell amazing and I truly was impressed with myself that I was able to pull it off. Thanks, Aarti for pushing me to cook outside of my kitchen, so to speak...now on to your next recipe...
