For those of you who said this was horrible, you have no idea what you are missing. This is delicious and be sure to add the passion fruit juice other wise it will be quite salty. If you dont like this you have no idea what sofisticated drinks are. Have you ever even tried alcoholic drinks? Naive......

This is a great cooler on those extremely hot summer days. Great to help the body replace the lost sodium from all the sweating. Plus it taste better than Gatorade and you know exactly what is in it.
Oh an I just read some of the other comments. How cruel to make you comments so absolutely personal.

Maybe you have to be a salt lover like me but I thought it was delicious. I was expecting a salty taste because of the name of the drink. I also got the sweetness...I love it.

I don't know why people were expecting it to be straight up sweet. This salty sweet version is quite refreshing!

I got an email forward asking to review Aarti's recipes. Not sure who originated the email thread!
This was an easy recipe to make but I did not like the flavors. Too salty.
Aarti should have put a footnote on how this recipe may be detrimental for hypertension ailing people.

This LOOKED good, but I was a little leery of adding so much salt to a drink. I was in a hurry, trying to get everything else done, so I asked my chef son to make it. Because of some of the reviews saying it was too salty, I told him to just start with a little and add from there. He just went ahead and put the whole amount in. I tried it. The 1st taste in my mouth was salt, but once it reached the rest of my mouth, there was hardly any (too much salty flavor; it was just refreshing. It actually was a bit addicting! Everyone loved it. I'll definitely make this again.

What exactly was refreshing in this recipe is a mystery to me.
No, thanks. Never again...
