This is an amazing recipe. The chutney has wonderful flavor and is a perfect combination with the salty, crunchy shrimp. I definitely recommend this recipe, make it exactly as directed.

this was pretty good. I didn't have fennel seeds on hand but it still turned out good. The hubby really liked it. The chutney was awesome but it was too warm for me. The next time I make this I will put it in the fridge while I fry the shrimp.

I absolutely love this recipe!! My husband and I tried it once and were hooked. We made it again for my mom and step-father and they thought we were crazy but they loved it too!!! It wasn't hard to do and the taste was amazing!!! I would recommend this to anyone who loves shrimp!!!

This was my first experience cooking with Indian spices. I loved the chutney! It really made the sandwich awesome! Looking forward to season 2!

Fantastic! Loved the flavors. We like things SPICY so I doubled the all the spices/pepper in the chutney except the tumeric & halved the mayo. Using pineapple tidbits lessened the chopping. I was out of cornmeal so I used Panko crumbs as suggested by another review-was a total save & worked great but I will try fine cornmeal next time. Love you Aarti & can't wait to see the next season. Wish you would put the giraffe from the blog in the next intro - it's too cute!

I made this sandwich today and my husband and I both thought it was wonderful. I did not change a thing. Aarti has the most wonderful talent of combining flavors. I am really looking forward to more new shows in December. We are saving the rest of the chutney/mayo for turkey sandwiches in a couple of days.

Please be careful when you rate. Someone previously liked the sandwich but only gave it one star.

Love it! This was my first dabble in Indian spices. Followed the recipe exactly. The dish was, as promised, warm but not too spicy. We'll be trying many more of Aarti's recipes!
