Absolutely loved this recipe. I've often found traditional sloppy joes to be pretty boring in taste. The recipe may be a little work - really not that bad because the payoff in flavor was so worth it!

This recipe was great. Some members of my family will never eat chopped turkey - but they ALL loved it in this recipe. Thanks, Aarti!

This was such an amazing dish!! It really was NOT that hard to make at all. Once you have everything chopped and ready its really just combining things together. Such a flavorfull and fulfilling meal. Thanks Aarti!

Way too much work for such a casual meal. My husband liked the flavor but my 11 year old nephew did not.

Have made this several times for guests. It has been a hit with everyone. Prep time is a little long but so worth it! My husband won't eat ground turkey so I used ground bison. So yummy! Next time instead of using buns I'm going to make this as lettuce wraps.

The preparation time was very long, however I loved the taste. The raisins and pistachios threw me for a loop but it worked. I will cook this again with friends and family but try to do baked pita bread. The garam masala was located at Whole Foods, not at any of the local markets I shop at.

I was actually surprised at how good this was. I can't stomach traditional sloppy joes and I loathe raisins, but I wanted to try one of Aarti's recipes so I gave it a whirl. I just left out the raisins and I really couldn't believe how delicious it was. It was actually several weeks ago when I made it, but I'm still craving it! I may have to do it again, but I want to try some of her other recipes too.

Had these at my daughter's this weekend and they were fabulous. Wanted to take leftovers home on plane, but darn grandchildren wouldn't let me. Am going to make a large batch and eat until I burst.
