I can't wait to try this recipe! I love indian food and love the idea of being able to bring indian influence into everyday american foods. Love the concept! Just a quick note to Linda in AZ. The Foodnetwork ad with Aarti and the other Next Food Network Star contestants isn't thanking america for making Aarti's Party the #1 show on Foodnetwork - it's thank America for making The Next Food Network Star the #1 show on Food Network. Just wanted to clear that up. I think Aarti is a wonder addition to Food Network as are all the other former winners of the show. Keep it up Food Network!!!!

Hi Aarti,
Good-bye confidence demons and HELLO AARTI !!! Way to go girl! Today's first episode of Aarti Parti just makes me SO Proud of you and how far you have come in your Food Network journey. You left me yearning for more. I can't wait to try your recipes! I am printing them off so I can try them today!
Aarti, I am SO glad that YOU won the Next Food Network Star! There was a lot of talent on this show, but the best three came out at the end, and YOU, my dear, have been my absolute favorite during the entire series! I'm so glad you won because I think that you offer the Food Network more than anyone else in this series could.
Your flavorful influences, your natural radiance, and your delightful personality, plus then add in your wonderful accent - they all combine to make me want to see your show every day! You inspire me to connect with my God given essence, my highest self, if you will.
Thank you for sticking it out and going the distance. You are an inspiration to so many viewers!
I send you my love, hugs, and blessings for continued success!

Congrats Aarti!!! I liked your personality the first week of the NFNS. I am so glad you won!!! I'm glad you are putting your own twist on American food. I think it will help introduce those that haven't eaten Indian food like myself. You are so bright and refreshing on the show! Good luck to you and I wish you much success in your new career!!! God bless.

Aarti is the first "Next Food Network Chef" that I especially programmed my DVR for- she is a winner! I have purposefully turned the last few NFNCs off- Guy is the only other success..... out of all the people in the world... how do you come up with such lame contestants? I predict Aarti will be a star!

I just wanted to say that Aarti is such a delight to watch! A refreshing welcome to Food network. Please don't get discouraged with the nasty comments that some people put out there. obviously they are uncouth and have taste in the area that they sit on. Happy cooking Aarti!

Finally FN is adding some ethnic spice to their lineup. Aarti is adorable and I have already learned lots of new info. by watching her show (massaging kale?!?!...who knew?. These Sloppy Joes look simple to make and so flavorful. In addition, all of the ingredients are available at my grocery store. I cannot wait to see what Aarti comes up with over the next few weeks. I made her Indian Style "pizza" last week and it was a huge hit. My family can't wait for me to try her next recipe.
PS.....Linda, in the commercial you are referring to, they are thanking people for making Next Food Network Star number one, not Aarti Party.

I have been a fan of Aarti since she first appeared on the show and have so looked forward to her first episode. I love Indian cuisine and was so happy she won because of her great personality and the fact that there are no other cooks on the network who specialize in Indian dishes. My rating above is based upon her presentation.
