how do you have 11 reviews and the show hasn't even aired yet?? I have no idea how this tastes but how do these other people unless they are family or staff?

Can't believe you won! But then, this season's "stars" seemed to be quite an odd collection of cooks, none of whom was able to cook good food consistently. It seems that there are only a few excellent chefs left on FN who have mastered the TECHNIQUES that produce fine, consistent results. So you've joined the ranks of those who demo recipes and teach NOTHING. Can't FN find anyone new who can "teach a man to fish"? Well, THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT!

I just made these Sloppy Bombay Joes for a couple of meat and potato loving men who are real leery about trying new things and they loved it. One of them said, "I've never had Sloppy Joes with beans before." He said that about a pistachio. The spices are perfect too: not too hot. I even left most of the Serrano chili in the mixture. They cleaned their plates and thanked me for a fabulous meal several times. "Thank Aarti," I said. Thank you, Aarti.

Ok, I was skeptical at first about an Indian version of the good ole american sloppy joes, then add pistachios and raisins? But this is really, really delicious. I left out the pepper, just used about 1/4 tsp of crushed red peppers to add a little heat.
It was a little soupy, but I mixed in some cornstarch slurry and that thickened it some. I made these open faced sandwiches, which made it a lot easier to eat.

Thanks for an interesting and tasty receipe. Its very clear and easy to follow. Especially where you state that you need to use 1 pound of ground turkey. And its listed under the Turkey part even.

Think maybe we could hold the gushing, screaming-fan-girl enthusiasm until we've actually made, and tasted, the dish? Hmmmm? This has excellent flavor, but next time will skip adding the 1/2 serrano to the turkey mixture. Hotness from sauce was sufficient. Very easy to make as long as you don't mind lots of ingredients to measure/prepare.

This is sooo good. I just made it and with the exception of using 1/3 C of pistachios and raisins, followed the recipe to the letter. So much win!!! It took just about an hour as the recipe says too. LOVE IT!!

I am excited to expand my pantry and spice collection with these new ingredients. I know having them in stock will make experimenting with Aarti's recipies so much fun. I can't wait! I am going to try this one ASAP. I look forward to all you have in store.
