LOVED this! next time i'll mince up the serrano and throw it in with the onions and pepper instead of throwing it in whole!

This recipe is so delicious but I did take some advice from previous reviewers(thank you : I added tomato paste and that helped the consistency. I didn't have pistacios on hand (and they are too expensive anyway so I used cashews and they worked well. The flavorings were perfect otherwise and I would make this again again!!!

Wow - Full of flavor. That was one amazing recipe. The cilantro, the cumin seeds, the garam masala, the ginger - it all just worked so well together! Can't wait to try leftovers.
I made a slight mistake and added way too much honey (1/8 cup - but it still tasted good.
Will be adding this to my recipe file.

We have made this recipe several times, we skip the 0.5-n-0.5 and add a touch more chilli. It's very yummy and easy to fix, we gave it to the kids on rice and they thought "it was great chilli"! (I actually pulled the wrong bowl out of the freezer...

We also like this on thin spaghetti with a little Parmesan (we forgot to get the buns once!

    Very versatile and delicious!

Well, I've been wanting to make this for so long. I finally did it. However, I didn't care for it, my daughter did though. I love Aarti and some of her other recipes, soooo, I am not going to bring her rating down.

I love this and so do all my friends in our Anglo-Indian Sporting and Dining Club. But I make it as an appetizer with slight modifications. I double the spices and I use a whole shredded cooked chicken. I have served it with pita chips and in pastry cups. Even better if I make it one day ahead of time. Both are fab-u-lous!

So good! We made it with the Brocccoli slaw. I added a litte more honey and some tomato paste and it was delicious. Can't wait to have it leftover, I'm sure it'll be even better! Love Arti!

I think the only modification I made was to use tomato paste instead of tomato sauce *thought I had the sauce on hand, but just added extra water*, and served it over brown rice. Guests loved it and not normally demonstrative fiancee said "you can make that anytime you want!"...so a rare compliment from him. I think the only modification I will make in the future will be to add more pistachios...I really enjoyed the crunchiness. It did take a long time to make and we will see how the leftovers are *one serving; four adults were served amply* as normally there are just two of us. This definitely is NOT what I think of as traditional Indian, but I don't care what cuisine it falls into...it is incredibly delicious!

Overall - absolutely delicious. I forgot about the earlier reviews that said the amount of liquid needed to be reduced which I agree with. Otherwise, really delicious. I made this and the Red Quinoa salad on the same day and ended up mixing the two together for leftovers - the quinoa soaked in all that excess liquid and was very, very delicious.
