Incredible flavors, never had anything like it! I used walnuts instead of hazelnuts and it was delicious.

Delicious! I subbed macadamias for the hazelnuts and used a bit of Splenda in place of Honey. (I am a low carber The second time I made it, I realized too late that I didn't have Turmeric on hand so I used Garam Masala instead. It is delicious BOTH ways!

Aarti is offically my culinary angel. Sorry, Giada and Bobby. These veggies were divine. It was a really lovely and unexpected flavor combination. I used two pounds of squash rather than one pound and the sauce was still more than ample.

I used acorn squash, which I roasted in the oven & then drizzled the sauce over the top, very nice! Thanks Aarti!

Bursting with exotic flavor! Squash will never seem like a 'tame' side dish again! I substituted almonds for hazelnuts ( threw them in mincer first and it was absolutely delicious. You really can't go wrong with this dish - thank you Aarti :

I used zucchini b/c that's what I had on hand, great. I like hazelnuts and used them but I would cut them up a bit finer next time. I felt there was too much of a good thing with the nuts, would rather have a little, not a lot of, crunch in smaller tidbits. Used agave b/c the honey was thick and wouldn't pour and I was too lazy to heat it up. This dish hit all the right notes. Would make it again w/summer squash or even mixing the two squashes.

So simple to make yet so delicious. I substituted agave syrup for the honey because I find it less sweet - which I prefer - and I used toasted slivered almonds in place of the hazlenuts. Just wish I had more squash right now so I could make it again tonight.
