I do not read other reviews before I write my own because I don't want to be influenced by what others have to say. That being said, I don't think any other review could have possible tainted my view of this soup. IT IS SPECTACULAR!!!! The ginger, rice vinegar, seasame oil and soy sauce all added a unique flovor that I am now craving! Thanks Arti! You haven't let me down yet!!!!

I loved this! Simple chicken soup with a twist of ginger. So tasty! And to the people knocking on this recipe only because of the bullion - you should be happy that people are cooking and not eating takeout.

My kids and husband loved this dish. We skipped the soy sauce, didn't want to add any more sodium to this dish but it still was mighty tasty.

I'm a huge fan of Aarti, but this wasn't good at all. The sweetness of the corn overpowered the other flavors (carrot, ginger, leeks, chicken, etc. The egg whites almost made my mother and I gag because they seemed like they did not fit into this soup. Overall, I would skip this recipe and try her rendition of Slippy Joe's. Those are FANTASTIC!

My family loved it! I have a daughter that doesn't like any soup that has corn in it and she ended up having 2 bowls. My son had one of his friends over for dinner and he liked it so much he took a bowl of it home to his mom!

This soup is great. It really annoys me when people post ratings WITHOUT making the recipe just based on some ridiculous bias they have. If you don't like it, don't make it, but don't throw off the stats for the rest of us.

This soup is really quite tastey. Not quite what I was expecting but still satisfying. Like Aarti said, good on a cold day. Oh, and to Jaselle and satinshoe.....you're both morons. Get off your pedestals and make the recipe before you rate it!

This is a great soup!! Aarti mentioned it was comfort soup and I totally agree!! It was very easy to make and even my 4 year old loved it. I made it as Aarti mentioned, I might add more chicken and not the boullion cubes next time. You could use fresh corn too, instead of canned corn. Overall it was great and I do plan on finishing the rest for dinner tonight! Yummy!!

Soup was awesome - I actually made it. This site is for rating a recipe that you have ACTUALLY MADE. Food Network, please stop posting reviews from individuals who just want to preach. If you don't want to put the bouillon in don't but then tell us how it was AFTER you actually made the soup. I check the reviews for taste advice, not medical advice.
