LOVED this! I've only recently started to learn more about Indian food, and when I saw this segment, I thought this would be good one to try. This is delicious & I think even those folks who swear they "do not like Indian food" will like this. I had to work around some of the ingredients since I couldn't find one or two of them. Also, some of the spices I had were already ground so I put them in with the whole spices toward the end of toasting before I put them all in the grinder. Otherwise, this was a cinch to make. I marinated overnight and the bone-in chicken breasts (skinless-it is what I had in the refrigerator came out succulent, sweet and flavorful. I would look forward to trying it with the thighs called for in the recipe, but if you have chicken breasts on hand, go for it! Lastly, the only reason I didn' give this five stars is because some of the spices are difficult to come by. Otherwise, there is five-star flavor and ease-of-preparation here for sure!

Followed just as written except could not find black cardamom and used fat free greek yogurt. It was awesome!!! We loved it and will be making it again. I marinated it for about 4-5 hours.

I thought this was fun to make (i.e. a little adventurous, but not laborious. Spices made the house fragrant. My bro-in-law grilled the chicken, and all three generations enjoyed it. Even picky mom-in-law who doesn't like anything.

This was our family's first foray into something more adventurous and I have to say everyone absolutely LOVED it. It was even better the second day. Absolutely delicious and easy to prepare. Thank you so much for sharing. This recipe will be definitely be added to my list of "make again"s.

This was absolutely delicious. I'm not sure how authentic it is? I really don't know. I'm not being sarcastic. My son said it's not like what he usually gets at the restaurants. He says it's not as red and it usually isn't so saucy. The chicken was incredibly tender, due to the yogurt marinade. Wow!! But we all thought it was fabulous. I used cardomom powder, as I couldn't find the pods anywhere. I will definitely make it again, soon too. Thank you Aarti!

Very delicious! I had a hard time finding some of the spices. After 3 stores I gave up and went without the spices. So delicious!!!!

Had a chance to try this out...and I must say, this tastes way, way better than what they put out at my local Indian buffet(s. Certainly looks like quite a unique approach to this dish they way you describe. Will certainly have this again!

Yum Yum Yum! I added a little more chile because we like it hot. But OMG the sauce is amazing! FYI, I cooked them on the grill outside on skewers. My oven broiler isn't really that great but frankly I think it made them even better. We also only use organic free range chicken breasts. Perfection!
