I just stumbled upon this while looking up Thai sauces... this sounds very yummy.. however my version may include coconut rum.

I was intrigued by this recipe, but once I tasted it, I immediately recognized it as something I had gotten from a soda machine in southeast Asia when I visited there. My lemongrass "tea" had the right flavor, but once it got diluted into the final drink, I couldn't taste it. The drink just tasted like coconut water to me. (The Zico website said it was sold at Wegman's, but I couldn't find it there, so I used another brand. It was the perfect accompaniment to spicy Asian food, but bland by itself.

Very delicious and refreshing. Liked the pinch of salt in it. And encee_99 -- Aarti uses the British pronunciation of lychee -- it's not wrong -- it's just British. Not everyone is from America.

Really refreshing though we preferred it strained.

Aarti, love your show but i have a bone to pick with you. Lychee's are pronounced : Lee -chee, and not Lye-che! Please say it right!
