Use more cheese and less red curry paste. The panko is an excellent finish to this dish which really separates it from other mac & cheese dishes. One of our dinner guests who is a curry fanatic is planning his own assault on this dish; something about bacon and green onions...keep the recipes coming Aarti - we really enjoyed the show this morning.

What a tasty twist on Mac N Cheese - the family loved it! After seeing the show this morninig, I was craving mac n cheese all day and just happened to have red thai curry paste in the refridgerator. The recipe is so simple, there is room to play around with the ingredients and proportions. Any level of cook would feel comfortable and enjoy making it!

I was highly unimpressed and disappointed with this recipe. It sounded different, spicy, and exotic. However, it was extremely bland. I felt that the curry paste added nothing to the recipe. It was just a waste of a trip to the store to get it. I may as well have omitted it and made regular macaroni and cheese and because that's all it tasted like. In fact, I have made regular mac-and-cheese using a similar technique before, which was much more flavorful. Sorry Aarti.

I loved this Mac &Cheese. My Kids enjoyed this homemade Fresh M&C (little Spicy for them, BUT Tasty!!!!
