I taped the program the night before. After playing it back, I called the fish monger who had a beautiful stripe bass waiting for me. I bought Chef Paul Prudhomme's fish seasoning, while he prepared the fish, just read the chef's bio and he's alive and well and born on my birthday. The Cauliflower dish was delicious and the yogurt dip was yummy. Since this was Aarti Party for one (moiwill save the rice dish for another time. Love the flavors of India.

I couldn't get a whole fish in my grocery store, so I used cod fillets - they came out great. My husband said the cooked mint flavor was unusual, but I liked it. Very easy to make & very tasty.

Despite being a fairly good home chef, I have never made a whole fish before, but after seeing the show I put it on my to do list. I found the freshest Bass I could, at an asian market in my surrounding area. They cleaned the inside of the fish for me. WOW!! The smell while it was baking and taste were incredible. I made it with the rice pilaf dish that was on this show also, and everyone said it was the best rice they have ever had. It was easy too!! TRY THIS FISH!!

I made this dish for my husband and I and figured a whole fish might be too much so we did individual portions of sea bass. We coated the fish with the sauce and grilled them then served the rest of the sauce on top of the fish. It was fabulous! I think this sauce would work with any mild fish. We plan to use the left over sauce later this week. Very tasty!

Cooked a half salmon with this dressing. I added 1 clove of garlic and a few generous grates of fresh ginger. I reduced the hot pepper flakes to 1/2 tsp for my wife and used a small blender jar to liquefy the mix. The food processor left it too chunky. Wrapped in foil and cooked it at 400 degrees for about 50 minutes.
To the balance of the marinade (not used on the fish I added about 1 Tbsp of mayonnaise to smooth out the heat for my wife. It is a truly wonderful way to cook fish and I'm sure the balance of the cooked fish and fish juices happily married in a flat plastic container in the fridge will taste wonderful tomorrow or the day after.
Of the ways to cook whole fish, this is my favorite so far. Make sure to oil you foil if you use it and make sure to wrap the fish tightly in the foil and seal to keep the fish in contact with the marinade and juices as it cooks.

Amazing. I left out the sesame oil and added fresh garlic and ginger in the cavitys and more lime juice. Will make again for sure. I had Branzino.

Made this today; what a way to wake your taste buds! The cilantro & mint go surprisingly well together, and the red chili flakes add a nice touch of heat. I should've prepared 2 fish, because I practically ate 1/2 after it came out of the oven. Once you finish whizzing the paste together, everything else is easy peasy. Thank you, Aarti -- this is my new favorite way to eat fish! So much better than frying.

The fish came out preety good. I think a little bit of ginger and garlic might improve it further. Overall it was a very easy quick and tasty recipe. Thanks Aarti!
