I just made the meatloaf part of this. We usually don't like meatloaf, but did like this one! The pomegranate seeds really make it.

I could not find Sumac so I used a little Paprika and Lemon Zest. It came out pretty yummy. The sauce is amazing. It's even better the next day because it gets saturated in the wine sauce. I would use this recipe but make grilled burgers instead of meatloaf and brush the sauce on the burgers. YUMMY!

I usually don't like meatloaf. However, this is a great recipe because it isn't the same "old-fashioned meatloaf"! If you are looking for something different with lots of taste, try this dish.
Aarti, I hope you win! I have been your fan since the first episode.

This meatloaf is different than the same old meatloaf recipes. It has tons of flavor, thanks Aarti!

This was not the old- fashioned meatloaf comfort food I was expecting.

When I saw this I had to try it right away. So I cut it down a bit to serve 2 and made this for lunch. It was actually very good. Instead of Chicken sausage used pork, and instead of turkey used beef. It was easy to make and we enjoyed it. I have already added it to our growing list of things to serve at our Halloween Party, YES we start planning this far ahead! :- Cheers! Thanks Aarti for a fabulous creation!
