DUDE!!! You rocked this way out over the center field wall!!
    DOG:
Sounds more complicated than it is. BUT, if youve ever made sausage before, its no different. Maybe a few more steps because of the seasoning additions, but overall the same and SOOOO worth it!!!
    BUNS:
I LOVE LOVE LOVE rye bread, but this is beyond over the top and is my new rye bread recipe for all time. It goes so perfectly with the dog and whatever else I put on it for everyday sandwiches. Didnt get to the slaw, but the 1000 & mayo were phenom.!!
Topped 'em with the gruyere & thinly sliced pickled red onion.
The only thing I'll do different next time is X 4 the recipe so I'll have enough to freeze! I must have used a fatty enough meat because even after smoking, they were NICE & JUICY!!!
I brought some in to work for some co-workers and they were blown away!
    SOOO GLAD YOU SHARED!!!! @;-

Really good flavor. I added some cut sauerkraut to the sausage mix which adds a little texture and flavor. I thought the finished sausage was a little dry. Next time I will add about 20-30% pork trim to add moisture. The rye buns turned out great.
