My 11 year old daughter and I made this recipe. It was absolutely delicious! We used yellow onion cut pole to pole, snow peas, red and green peppers, bean sprouts and top sirloin. Everything came together perfectly. I modified a couple of things starting with the addition of corn starch. I made a slurry with it and then added it to the wet ingredients. I had too many clumps when adding it as directed. The other liberty that I took was adding more liquid than called for. We had a LOT of veggies so we adjusted the recipe to uniformly coat the ingredients and leave us with just a tad of juice left over. This is so modifiable to your specific tastes but the overall theme here is the wet ingredients. So tasty and very spicy. That's how we like it! Thanks Aida! BTW, Miss 11 Year Old wants to be a Chef! Daddy is so proud!!!

Two tablespoons of chile sauce is way to hot. I used leftover beef tenderloin which was very good, but it went in the trash because it was so spicy. I won't try this recipe again, my mouth is still on fire.

I made this tonight for dinner and it was very good! I used a little more chili sauce than the recipe called for and it was a bit hot, however, we both loved it. We couldn't stop eating it. This recipe will be one of my favorites to make again and again.
    Great job Aida!

Wow Aida. This was sooo good. I have three picky eaters. I used broccoli instead. I poured the mixture over brown rice. Everyone LOVED it. I was also amazed out how TENDER the flank steak was. Thanks for the cutting tip too. Keep up the GREAT work!

Very easy to make and fantastic flavor. I substituted flat iron steak instead of flank steak, sugar snap peas instead of snow peas, and as suggested used sherry instead of mirin. For the chili garlic sauce I used 2 Tblsp Sriracha which turned out pretty spicy, but I like it that way. Also, pretty sure in the episode Aida mentioned it but the recipe does not, be sure to put the steak in the freezer for about 20 mins, makes it a lot easier to cut really thin. I served it over rice and it was fantastic.
