Everyone loved the taste of this but the custard came out like soggy scrambled eggs. I did everything exactly like the recipe but I omitted the liquer. Could that be my problem? If so, could anyone recommend a substitution? This would be perfect if the custard were really like a custard.

this is really a good recipe...easy to make.I was wondering about the sauce too so what i did was just look for an easy sauce for it and add some more amaretto to the sauce and it was good.
next time when i make it...i will pour cream over it while it is hot:-

I loved the Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding but could not find the recipe for
the Sweet Cream Walnut Sauce it suggested serving over it. I would love
to locate it.

I don't think I've ever had bread pudding, but my husband has, and he raved about this one! We added raisens and poured a touch of cream over it after it came out of the oven. Knocked our socks off!
Took a bowl to the neighbors who loved it too!
Great recipe! The challah bread was good, never had it before, but found it at a local bagel shop.
