lame recipe for a fish taco even for beginners, check out: Bobby Flay, Marcella Valladolid and Guy Fieri, they have recipes which are not only authentic but also delicious.

We just finished eating this meal and it was really good. I used Halibut since that's what I had in the freezer. I also used hot salsa instead of pico de gallo. And my boyfriend started taking the lettuce leaves and filling them with the fish and other ingredients rather than using the tortillas. A good meal and easy to put your own twist on it.

Maybe a few months before you saw this recipe (back when Patty, Linda & Gina did, the wine WAS left off the directions. This happens frequently. Someone may have caught the error and then corrected it.

    Possible???

No need to be mean to people when you may not have all the facts.

What part of "Pat fish dry and combine in a nonreactive bowl with the white wine, lime juice and garlic." didn't you understand? Stick to mac & cheese from a box.

The recipe doesn't tell you what to do with the white wine....I guess you should drink it while your cooking the tacos : Next time i'll add it to the marinade like someone said below.

I cooked these for my girlfriends family tonight, they absolutely looove fish and mediterranean cuisine, but I wanted to make them something new and exciting. I barely know what i'm doing in the kitchen but this was soooo quick and easy. I must say, the sliced avocado really made me look like a pro, and I used tilapia because mahi mahi was unavailable, they all loved it. I ate 4 myself. This will be a tough act to follow! Thanks!

This was my first attempt at fish tacos, and it was a success. I feel badly for Linda because she's right...the directions do not tell you how to use the wine that the ingredients list called for. Fortunately, I saw the episode on TV and knew that it was part of the marinade for the fish. I made the recipe exactly as called for. The only thing I will do differently next time is to try the larger flour tortillas rather than the small corn tortillas. The corn tortillas are too small to make a really big and hearty taco.

The dish itself is very simple, but I thought these tacos were excellent. Obviously, there are a lot of ways to jazz these up by adding different ingrediants, which just makes them more appealing to make again.

I made these for dinner and they were delish. I had some corn on the cob that needed to be cooked, which I steamed, cut off the cob, and then sauteed in a dry pan and added to the tacos, which was a wonderfully sweet addition.

To Linda - the wine goes in the fish marinade.
