These were yummy. I didn't really taste the toasted coconut, but the orange came through. My cookies turned out pretty flat and crisp because there is no leavening agent in the recipe. I dipped them in dark, dark chocolate. Can't wait to make them into an ice-cream sandwich!

Great cookies with a nice texture. They are not very sweet though, next time I will add extra sugar. I put the zest of an entire orange, which was just the right amount. I added some chopped cranberries & walnuts, along with the coconut, into the dough for a healthy addition - they go great with the orange zest.

I LOVE these cookies. They disappeared even though we had several other choices. I highly recommend them and will make them again.

These cookies were such a hit. Yesterday my friend was admitting to me that she fainted...wait was crying at how good these cookies were and demanded for a recipe. haha.
And that was event without the melted chocolate. These cookies were very easy to make and smell fragrant of coconut yet with a slight bitter tang from the oranges. Thanks for the recipe!

Original and delish cookies! Definitely dip the cookies in chocolate! The toasted coconut and orange zest together are a fresh and tasty combo!
Added this to my favorites list :-

I made these cookies to give out to people around the holidays and they were a HIT! The combination of chocolate, orange, and coconut is genius! So much better than a simple choc chip!

These cookies are so good! I thought the chocolate might be a bit too much for some people so I only dipped half of them in dark chocolate. The ones with the chocolate were gone first - no doubt about it. Next time I'll dip them all! This recipe is one I'll make again and again. Everyone loved them.

I saw this recipe on air last Saturday morning and made them on Tuesday. They were such a hit at our family Christmas party. My husband loves them and even my five year old nephew thought they were great! Thanks, Aida for sharing!!!

These are wonderful! I didn't quite get 4 dozen out of the recipe - more like 3 dozen. Going to make a second batch, so I have plenty to share this Christmas.

To Confused: it should be beat the butter until fluffy(2 min, then add the sugars beating again until it looks like wet sand (another 2 min. Then add the egg and vanilla. This is what I did and they turned out great.
