As described, the glaze came out thinner than I like. The second time around, I reduced it to less than half the original volume. It was thicker but not what I expected.

These were delicious! I made a few changes (I soaked raisins/nuts in rum and the ground spices and a few spoonfuls of brown sugar to soak. Filled the apples, poured rum over, covered and baked. These were delicious and a healthier dessert option! Thanks Alex!

So good!! Definitely a keeper! We had Vanilla Bean ice cream with ours. And we have decided the Rum & Cinnamon sauce will be a new ice cream topper for us. Thanks for a great recipe!!

Very Tasty....very easy to make. We used medium size Granny Smith apples and they had to cook a little bit longer than the recommended cook time. We used Jamaican spice rum and the Rum Raisin ice cream. Was a great Saturday night dessert!! Thanks….

SO delicious and easy! I saw Alex making this while I was at the gym this morning, and knew it was the right dessert to serve for my company tonight. It was perfect! Thank you Alex for a great addition to my dessert repertoire!

These apples were fabulous. I am not usually a big fan of fruit type desserts, but it looked so good. I used the Granny Smith and did use the raisin rum ice cream as suggested. Had a little sauce left over and the next night and just heated it up and poured over vanilla ice cream..
