Proportions of marinade fine, not too salty. The chicken was moist but a very ordinary dish. I would not serve this to company. I recently started watching Alex but after 4 disappointing recipes, I am yet to be impressed. When she judges others, she is so tough, I am waiting for a great recipe. Will try a few more before I tune out completely.

This recipe is DELICIOUS. Give this REAL CHEF primetime and take off INA, Paula (and her boys who are taking over her showand the amateur Melissa d'A. We are tired of their boring shows. Alex knows how to cook and everything she cooks is delicious.

I saw Alex making this and I thought it was a clever dish, something a bit different. I halved the recipe and marinated my chicken per the recipe. It was an easy dish to make, but it's overloaded on salt from the soy sauce. The chicken was ok, but the taste and saltiness of the soy sauce was overpowering, and the combination of soy sauce and marsala wine was odd. The chicken had a strange flavor and I wouldn't make this again. It was just way too salty.

Love this recipe. Very simple to prepare. A good dish to prepare when having guests over. I have made this more than once and it is a big favorite in the house and am sure will prepare it often. If you are feeling lazy and not in the mood to cook, this is the recipe for you. Just mix the sauces, marinate for about 3 hours, bake it and you have it ready.

I thought it was an "interesting" combinations of ingredients; soy AND Marsala together??? But I forged ahead because there were so many good reviews. My first hunch was right; the soy overpowered the Marsala and that's all you could taste. I followed the directions precisely. Normally, most of Alex's recipes that I've tried have turned out well but I didn't care for this one at all and won't be making it again.

I Loved This & so did fiance. I used dry marsala, toasted sour dough crumbs, skinless chicken breasts and did my marinade for 5 hrs.
I would definitely make this again...maybe add some parmesan to the bread crumbs. Thank you Alex...you are becoming one of my favs!

Saw this recipe on TV and I shortly went out to buy marsala. This recipe was great and easy to make. Would use 1/4 cup soy and 3/4 of marsala next time since it was too salty, but it made the weekly lineup of recipes!

This recipe is amazing! The only variation I made was to use boneless chicken breasts and to mix the bread crumbs with olive oil instead of butter. I've made this about 4 times now and perfect every time! This is our new fave chicken dish.
