This is a fabulous recipe! I'll make this sandwich again and again. I was nervous about the very strong smell of the sage, but it was fantastic and unlike anything I've ever tasted before.

My husband said this is the best sandwich he's ever had outside a restaurant and better than most sandwiches he's had *from* a restaurant. I switched the red wine mayo to horseradish mustard and then added tomato slices and it was delectable. Definitely a "company recipe".

It's the perfect meal incorporated into two pieces of bread. The tangy mayo, the crisp proscuitto, the juicy chicken....I am making it AGAIN this evening for my Wife and 8 year old son.

So incredibly delicious! I made a few changes: I didn't have any sage so I fried up some basil leaves (watch out... they splatter like crazy when you add them to the pan. I actually used my splatter guard, which I hardly ever do and I also added a piece of provolone in addition to the parm. The red wine vinegar mayo definitely was a great addition. Instead of pounding out the chicken myself, I bought the package with the thin-cut pieces, and, as Alex suggested, piled two pieces on each sandwich. Overall, a little time consuming, but worth it!

Delicious!!!! I made these for my family last night and there wasn't a bite left on their plates. The flavors work so well together. I'll definitely be making this again... soon.

My daughter and I made these sandwiches and they were fantastic! I accidently mixed up recipe a bit with the Chicago Cheese Steak recipe and we used fontinella cheese instead of shaved parm. It was a happy mistake that we will repeat. My daughter added dried oregano and garlic salt and pepper to mayo mixture and we will also do that next time. We ended up dipping bits of romaine into dressing and munching while we were waiting for chicken to cook. Thanks for a great recipe.
