Yummo! This pudding was easy to whip up and was very satisfying. The richness was countered by the whipped cream and almonds. Loved it!

I thought this was simple, rich and delicious. I made it for my grandchildren, they loved it.
The saltiness of the nuts and the cream balanced the dish perfectly. It goes a long way. Fed 6 of us greedy people

Absolutely Delicious! Creamy sweet and just right after a BIG meal! The rum gives it a nice flavor, yet you don't really taste the alcohol. Thanks Alex, Love this recipe.

Loved this -- tasted like the cornstarch puddings my mother made when I was a child -- and those recipes were lost. So easy and so delicious!

Excellent! Thank You! Alex never disappoints me. This pudding is so luxurious. I absolutely love it! It actually started to turn thick before I added the corn starch. It was so easy to make. This recipe is a keeper!

I'm so glad to find a choc pudding recipe that doesn't use eggs. First time I made this I used bittersweet choc b/c it's what I had, and it wasn't that sweet. Today made it w/2% milk instead of whole milk and no choc. chips at all...like it even better. I am also glad this dessert is safe for my egg-allergic toddler granddaughter. My pudding thickened in less than a minute...so don't overcook the cornstarch, it then tends to thin out. One of the best little recipe "finds" I've come across in a while. Simple too. Today I poured the pudding into store-bought graham cracker shells to top w/whipped cream.

While this tasted great & I'll definitely try it again...like the fact it has no egg in it...mine turned out thick enough but had small lumps that started developing the minute I took it off the heat & let it cool a bit.

I agree...Alex should be showcased in a better spot...I've had enough of Rachel Ray at 6:30pm ET; why not put Alex there & see how her ratins soar!

Sometimes overcooking cornstarch will cause it to thin. Check out the argo cornstarch site for other causes.
