Also making this for the 4th and using cilantro rather than mint. I enjoy her show.. she makes it so easy.

YUM! Don't tell Alex, but I used cilantro instead of mint and a little butter with the oil. Great recipe. LOVE HER SHOW!! LOVE this recipe.

a perfect 4th of July dish. Delicious, and only takes minutes to make. I found that some mussels needed a couple of extra minutes on the grill before removing to a bowl. Otherwise, recipe is a perfect 10!

My husband and I made this yesterday. It is a simple fast recipe, but we liked the mussels better without the breadcrumbs. It is worth a try.

As they pop open, doesn't necessarily mean they are done. I had 3 pounds of mussels I was cooking tonight and I think size comes into play. We tossed a whole lot of uncooked mussels, those that we brought in because they had opened. They certainly weren't cooked through. I think you need to pay attention to opening and size. Otherwise, it had (has potential. Will try again.
