Excellent, a big hit. I used chicken broth and added more broth and less cream because I wanted to cut the calories. Served with cheese crisps. If you want an extra kick add some cayenne pepper. Will definitely make often.

This soup is absolutely delicious. The nutty, smokiness of the Jerusalem artichoke is spectacular and anything BUT bland (as the other reviewer indicated. I served it over spicy, chili sautéed shrimp and garnished with blanched, baby artichoke spears and garlic parmasean crostinis. It was a hit!

Made this yesterday...not bad, more like pea soup...I did add a little bacon to it, because it was a bit bland. Otherwise it was just ok, not a grand slam. I probably will not make it again; most likely with all that work, I'd rather make split pea soup.
