This BBQ sauce is the bomb! I made this sauce, finished the batch and then tried Rachel Ray's. I'm coming back to this one. Can't get enough of it!

I made this recipe for dinner tonight for our family. I could not tell much difference from this sauce and the bottled sauce that I add spices. Would not make this again.

I enjoy cooking and baking and afer seeing this receipe on tv I decided to make for my son who loves bbq sauce. But what a disaster. The bbq sauce is gross and we did not understand how it received such praise. Too bad because I was looking forward to the sauce

This was excellent. I will never buy bottled Bar B Que sauce again.
At first I thought there might be too much vinegar. But once it was all done and my husband took a bite of his chicken, He fell in love with this. Great Job Alex.

very flavorful and the chicken comes out so tender. I don't change a thing in the recipe, and my husband and I love it. Definitely a keeper!

Absolutely delicious! Making your own BBQ sauce is tedious, but the outcome is far worth the work. Told myself after making this, that I will never use bottled BBQ sauce again! .. So far is true after making this 6 times... 6 weeks in a row :/

this was VERY tangy/spicy...almost too much. My 3 kids didn't enjoy the potency of the sauce, I felt that it was overwhelming for me as well, and I LOVE spicy foods

Ok, everyone has at least one mom recipe that really, really sucks and this has to be Alex Guarnaschelli's moms recipe that fits that description. I went out and bought all the ingredients, followed the recipe to prepare with my wifes help to make sure i did it right. I have to say it was terrible, I feel like I wasted my time and money going out and buying all the stuff I needed. Someone on the food network staff should taste this stuff and/or should test the recipes before they are posted.
