My family loves anything BBQ. I put the sauce in my crockpot the night before and let it simmer on low all night. Was perfect.

I have been looking for a good BBQ sauce recipe. Saw this on TV and decided to try it that night. It was fabulous! The only ingredient I left out was the ginger because I did not have any on hand, and it was still great. The lemons absolutely make the sauce, and my kids agreed. They loved this recipe. The chicken turned out great even without the skin. I will definitely be making this again and will experiment with different cuts of meat.

Made it this evening and it was pretty good. I am not sure I would take the time to make it again, took a little long.

Saw this on tv this morning and made it for dinner tonight. This bbq sauce was incredible, so easy and so yummy. I cooked the chicken an extra 10 minutes at the end. I'm already trying to figure out what else I can put the sauce on because I have so much left. It's easily enough for 2-3 whole chickens .

I made this tonight for supper and it was fabulous. I used boneless skinless chicken breasts and thighs. The breasts were pretty big so I sliced them like you would to make fillets.. I hope that makes sense. I followed the recipe almost exactly.. I didn't have fresh ginger, so I used 1 tsp of powdered. Also I had no lemons so I used about 2 tbsp of refrigerated lemon juice. Let me warn you that this stuff will make your house smell like vinegar, and when you open the oven - you might want to give it a second before you stick your head close or it will choke you. At first it had a strong vinegar taste, but it mellowed out after a couple bites. Next time I think I will try using half the vinegar and sub. the other half with water... just to see how it goes. But it is super good! This will definitely go in my recipe folder.

Made this today and it was a big hit with my family. It's 115 degrees outside so the last thing I wanted to do was fire up the outside grill. I still wanted to make a meal that had a summery feel though and this fit the bill perfectly. The sauce was tangy and delicious. I used chicken breast halves and the chicken was juicy and tender. No way would I ever buy sauce from a jar again. I will be sure to make up a batch regularly keep this on hand all the time. I made the potato salad Alex made on the show and it was a perfect side dish for the chicken. This sauce would be fabulous on ribs too which can also be made in the oven. I may make it through the desert summer after all!

I made this today. My husband really enjoyed this. I love the BBQ Sauce. I am a very picky sauce eater and was rather surprised on the taste of the sauce. The only adjustment I made to this was to cut down on the Chili Powder. I used a hot New Mexico Red Chili Powder. My husband said it could be hotter, but he likes everything hot, hot. I am going to try this out on my family and friends for the next picnic we have.
