Alex,
Love your show. Made this dish after watching your show in the morning, but I changed one ingredient in the sauce, that?s where I believe I went wrong. I used capers rather than green peppercorns in brine as my husband does not like peppercorns. So for me, I didn't care for the sauce. However, that being said, my family enjoyed the meal. The carrots were so flavorful. Potatoes were soft and tender.

The steaks were FULL of flavor. I made this for my family last night, and everything was a hit. Everything was sophisticated and delicious.

Alex, I love you on Chopped, your facial expressions are to die for... I can't to prepare the steak and sauce. My mouth was watering as I watch you prepare the sauce, I immediately took the steaks out the freezer. Knowing the ingredients you used is everything I love to cook with. Great show, don't change anything your presentations are beautiful.
