We apparently do not like tarragon. I would consider making this again without it, but the vinaigrette was really overwhelming too. It did look beautiful though! I agree with TheRiverJen, I'd rather eat my veggies plain!

Fresh veggies, but the flavors in the vinaigrette were not so great. I would not make it again... it really was a waste of wonderful produce. I woould rather eat them plain.

Very tasty dressing. I only had the frozen baby peas and snap peas, so I added fresh asparagus to the dish and WOW. So simple to make and everyone liked the cold salad. Thanks Alex for a great recipe.

I made this dish last night and it was fantastic. The basil really took the amazing flavors to a whole new level. I'd highly recommend this dish if you are looking for a refreshing side dish. Next time I get invited to a summer outdoor cook out I'm going to dazzle my friends with this dish. It just tastes like Spring!!! I did add some extra salt at the end.

This looked soo... good, green crunchy, acid and different! The presentation is unique and the salad plates beautifully. Had to try it immediately. Prep takes a bit more than 10 mintues to wash, cook and refresh veggies and make the vinegrette.

I found the lemon juice a bit too much and added half as much (2Tbsp. Half way through adding the oil I added couple pinches of sugar. I also found keeping the stems on the pea shoots to long. Mine were 4". They were hard to get into you mouth and almost choking.to eat. I'd cut half the stem off next time. After tossing the pea combo with the dressing adjust seasoning S/P to taste.
