Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups vodka
  • 1/2 cup Pimm's No. 1
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce, preferably Tabasco
  • Coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chilled lemon-lime soda

Directions

In a large container with a fitted lid, combine the vodka, Pimm's, lemon and lime juices, honey, hot sauce and 1 scant teaspoon pepper. Cover and shake to blend. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Fill a pitcher with ice and the lemon and lime slices. Shake the chilled vodka mixture and pour into the pitcher. Using a long wooden spoon, stir to blend while adding the lemon-lime soda. Taste. You may find you want to add another splash of vodka. Pour into tall glasses.

Really good! A great sipping drink. We had it for Thanksgiving drinks before dinner. Not everyone likes it, but those that do, really do!!!
