i make our thanksgiving turkey every year in brown paper bag, recipe passed down from my gramma cant be beat. The secret is to use a bag without ink we get our from a specialty cooking store in town that uses them for putting merchandise in when you buy it, they just give me a bunch and i keep them in one of those large sweater size storage vacume bag things : all of my family members are always asking me to cook a turkey for them and it really is the bag, i cant wait to do the chicken in this recipe tonight

I was looking for a recpie I saw Giada make a year ago, but this also caught my eye. Worst thing I ever made! I dont know if it was the ink print on the paper bag, or the huge amont of grease that sizzled in the bag (I put the bag in a lasagna pan because I did not know where this person expects the grease to go that left me feeling ill as it was cooking 2 nights ago, my house still stinks!
The sauce was runny, perhaps some steps or ingredients were left out of the recipie. I don't know how this recipie got on your website. EVERYTHING else I have made was 3 stars or higher! I'll stick with the food network stars stuff, as I think they have made it before or they would not put their own name on it.

It can be dangerous to your health to cook food in grocery bags. They can leach chemicals into the food and the air, since they are not made to be food safe. Cook this recipe in a bag made for cooking instead.

The chicken is only ok. The sauce? I'm still confused! How can something so runny be served as a side sauce? If you're looking for something with a lot of flavor - try another recipe.

This chicken is really good, the orange flavor isn't overpowering which I was worried it might. It was also good cold, in a salad the next day!
